An Indian Adventure Featuring... Mr & Mrs Johnson10 February 2015
Our 2nd couple in India last month were the Johnson’s! If you haven’t read our blog on the James’ experience then check out part one and part two. Otherwise, here’s a round-up of the Johnson’s amazing tour of India.
Enable customers Mr and Mrs Johnson flew from Birmingham yesterday, arriving in Delhi just before midday, where the couple were greeted by our representative and safely transferred to The Maidens Hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, our reps were cheerfully on hand to help with the check-in process. Mrs Johnson had also decided to carry a wheelchair with her to assist with mobility during the tour, which wasn’t a problem at all. And just like all our customers who travel to India, they were provided with an Indian mobile phone to ensure they could contact representatives or guides during their stay.

Today marks Mrs Johnson’s birthday, so in the morning our reps ensured her special day started cheerfully by presenting her with a stunning bouquet. And while the Johnson’s have been enjoying a guided tour of Old Delhi our reps thoughtfully placed flowers and cakes in their room for the evening celebrations.
Delhi’s sightseeing programme was thoroughly enjoyed, and with a drive to Agra next on the agenda there was plenty more for the Johnson’s to look forward to. They arrived at the Trident hotel where once again they were met by our reps and assisted with check-in. After a brief tour of Agra, the couple were treated to the delights of the Taj Mahal for a spectacular sunset viewing experience before settling in for the evening ahead of a busy day to come driving to Jaipur with an optional visit to the Fatehpur Sikri en route.

The Johnson’s decided to skip the sightseeing visit to Fatehpur Sikri and head straight to Jaipur where they were greeted by our reps at the Jaipur Trident Hotel. Their stay in this intriguing city included a sightseeing tour of Jaipur and a memorable visit to the Amer Fort. Tomorrow the Johnson’s are due to fly back to Delhi.

After a fantastic time visiting Jaipur’s most famous monuments, the Johnson’s tour was drawing to an end and it was time to prepare for the flight back to Delhi. Their final night in India was spent in the ancient capital, where they were able to relax in beautiful surroundings and recount the many happy memories of their Indian adventure – a holiday of a lifetime! On bidding India farewell, Mr and Mrs Johnson were safely transferred to the airport for their flight home to the UK..
