As Menorca’s liveliest region, the purpose-built resort of Cala’n Bosch has a marina lined with beautiful yachts and a range of bars and open-air eateries. It is only “lively” by Menorca’s calming standards, so there are still plenty of ways to enjoy a soothing holiday here rather than being swept up by the urge to party.
The face that it is a purpose-built resort has done little to affect Cala’n Bosch’s charm, particularly due to its wonderful artificial marina. Numerous yachts and other leisure boats moor here, and at night this spot fills with traders and stalls offering crafted goods and other standard holiday pleasures such as portraits and henna tattoos. This is also the place to be when you are hungry, populated as it is with both fast food places and high quality seafood eateries.
The resort is one of astounding contrast between the seasonal population and that of the number of locals during the less popular months. In summer, Cala’n Bosch is a lively, busy place to be, while during the winter the registered population drops down to just over 100!
This is the place to be if you are seeking a welcoming, friendly accessible holiday with a big emphasis placed on the beach and family-friendly fun.
