Exotic destinations05 September 2016
The time has long passed since people with impaired mobility were restricted to resort holidays. Read on to see just which incredible and exotic destinations have become accessible and ready for exploration!
Venturing to new destinations
This has been an exciting year for Enable Holidays, and has seen us offering tours and properties in more exotic destinations that ever before. Enable Holidays has never been content to remain in the same place for long, and always relishes venturing into new territory.
This Caribbean paradise has long been on our radar as a destination that we would love to offer accessible holidays to. The unmatched tropical beauty of its coastline and the vibrancy of the population are two popular draws, but there is also an incredible amount of history and culture to be enjoyed across the island, as well as the delightful gastronomy.
Vietnam, added earlier this year, is one of the most exotic destinations available in our range. During an unforgettable accessible adventure touring Vietnam, travellers will be invited to explore the timeless city of Hanoi as well as to learn some of the important history of the capital of Saigon. Travellers will also enjoy the country’s renowned street food, the exciting markets, and a life-affirming landscape of rice paddies, glorious mountains and distinctive temples.
This astounding country was added to our range earlier this year. We are simply ecstatic to offer you the opportunity for a tour that includes an accessible hike through the Amazon rainforest – yes, you read that right! There is also the option to take a raft down the placid Anzu River, plus a cablecar ride above the Patuzu River ravines and waterfalls, as well as to relax with a spa treatment in the stunning city of Baños.
Tours to this magnificent part of the globe are unlikely to be forgotten.
South African safari
Imagine the sunbaked, yellow grass beneath the magnificent open skies. Picture the vast plains and the sense that unfamiliar wildlife could be skulking in the undergrowth or perched within the trees.
The wilds of South Africa may seem like they are only suitable for the most intrepid globe-explorers, but Enable Holidays will soon be offering accessible safaris to our mobility-impaired customers!
Following our MD Lynne Kirby’s wildly successful trip to the World Travel Market in South Africa, we are just putting the finishing touches onto our adapted safari packages. We can’t wait to unveil them!
