Goodbye from Jonathan and welcome Matthew.05 April 2017
Well, it has been a wonderful year and a half, but it is time for the current voice of Enable Holidays’ social media, email shots and website words to bid everyone a cheerful farewell.
It has been an honour to work for a company that truly cares about its clients – which in my experience is a rarity. The Enable Holidays team is never afraid to go the extra mile to ensure that people who travel with us remain safe, comfortable, and receive everything they have been promised for their accessible holiday.
During my time at Enable, I have witnessed the team work tirelessly to arrange tailor-made holidays, stay late in the office and arrive early the following day, and seek the best options whenever a customer is looking for something extra-special. On the rare occasions when a holiday doesn’t work out precisely as planned, I’ve watched my co-workers place every other duty on pause and focus on the task at hand until it has been resolved satisfactorily.
I hope that you have enjoyed the messages and videos I have shared, and if you feel that Enable Holidays is an approachable, friendly company, then I hope that I have had something to do with that. As well as posting about travel topics and the company itself I have tried to chat with you about issues that affect the impaired mobility community as a whole, to inform, to make you laugh, and to make you feel good, too. I have also tried to respond to your messages and comments as quickly, openly and honestly as possible.
The range of destinations, resorts, experiences and accessible properties that Enable Holidays can offer has skyrocketed since I began my enjoyable term as the company’s copywriter/digital marketer in 2015, and I know that this will only continue to snowball as time goes on.
Thank you for reading my words and staying in touch while I have been here, and please don’t ever hesitate to contact Enable Holidays in the future. Your experiences will always matter to the team, and they will always be ready for a phone call or email to arrange your perfect accessible experience.

I’m Matthew and I would like to introduce myself as the new voice for Enable Holidays across all digital platforms. Firstly, I would like to thank Jonathan for all that he has done in the past year and a half. Over this time he’s built a great audience and I’m looking forward to continuing his hard work, providing you with fantastic and relevant content, keeping you up to date with our latest news & offers whilst also freshening things up.
Since starting about a month ago, I have seen the amazing team at Enable Holidays work tirelessly to organise many accessible holidays. Before I started, I wasn’t aware of the amount of time and planning that goes in to the 100% tailor-made holidays that we offer and I’ve been very impressed with how the team deal with every challenge that comes their way to ensure the customer has a great time on their holiday.
I’ve settled in well during my time here and I’m really starting to feel like one of the team. Helping our customers with their choice of holiday feels very rewarding and I look forward to coming to work, knowing that I’m making a difference.
We love hearing about your trips, so we would like to welcome you to share your pictures and write about your experiences from your holiday. Going forward, I would like to create a community around Enable Holidays where you can share your holiday experiences with others and let others know what you would and wouldn’t recommend in destinations that you’ve visited.
