The Cottage (South West France)

Southwestern France, in the foothills of the Pyrenees mountains. Located only 2.5hrs drive from San Sebastian, so can be combined with a driving holiday through France and Spain.

Large modern living room with generous comfortable corner sofa, TV, DVD and music player, books, games, etc. From the living room, the staircase is equipped with a Stannah electric stairlift complete with remote control, which leads to the bedroom, with two quality comfortable single beds. One is equipped with electrically adjustable lumbar, height and foot adjustment. There is also a toilet adjacent to the bedroom. 

This newly equipped cottage is fully double-glazed and with French doors that lead outside onto a large terrace with magnificent views over the valley below.
An American-style kitchen with all mod-cons full-size fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, cooktop, full-length feature tiled worktop, microwave oven, slow cooker, kettle, espresso coffee machine, toaster, and all the modern cooking accessories you need. Programmable clean energy wood pellet stove for winter use, which provides easily adjustable heating for whatever temperature is desired. 
Off the living room, there is an accessible shower/WC, with a no-steps, walk-in Italian-style open-plan shower with the mosaic-type floor, accessible shower seat and handrail. Washbasin with drawers, WC with large folding-down accessible handrail for those who require additional support. Electric warm air heater and electric clothes rail. Full-length mirror. 
All heating and hot water, taxes etc included. 

A wide choice of accessible activities are available locally, including; Skiing, Cimgo riding, Hiking, Joëlette walking, Nordic skiing, Parachute tandem jumping, Tandem paragliding, Hand-biking, Whitewater rafting, Equestrian farm visits, Pontoon fishing, Husky dog sled rides and Spas.
