Recently nominated one of the top places to visit in Europe and also a world heritage site, experience a guided tour of Malta's capital Valletta.
You will start the day with a visit to the Upper Barrakka Gardens. Enjoy one of the most breathtaking views on the island of the majestic Grand Harbour and surrounding three cities. From here you can also observe the firing of the midday guns at the Saluting battery.
A visit to the St John’s Cathedral is a must with its imposing bastions and impressive history. The cathedral is adorned in riches, some that date back to the Knights of Malta. It is also home to many priceless works of art, the most famous being The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist by the Italian artist Caravaggio.
Dotted with quaint cafes and bars, the city is today one of Malta’s main tourist attractions. On the day you will be given free time to enjoy a relaxing lunch, frequent the shops or just sit, enjoy an ice cream and watch the world go by.
Return transport, entrance fees and a fully licensed guide are all included on the day.
Tales of a Silent City
The city of Mdina is commonly called the "Silent City" by natives and visitors, set high up on a hill with its high walls and bastions it is a spectacular sight. On the day you will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent old capital, during which your guide will share with you its rich history and best kept secrets.
You will be given free time to spend as you choose, you may wish to take in the panoramic views, visit the Mdina Cathedral, enjoy a spot of lunch or wander into the neighbouring village of Rabat.
In the afternoon, see local craftsmen at their finest at the Ta Qali Crafts village. Ta Qali was used as an airfield during the second world war. The old Nissan huts that once housed planes and artillery have now been converted into local artisan huts, boasting local glass, pottery art, and much more. No visit is complete without seeing the glassblowing factory or to see a Maltese cross being made out of fine silver filigree by hand. Plenty of opportunity will be given to shop and maybe purchase a local souvenir to remind you of the day.

The enchanting island of Gozo is an escapist’s dream. It is a haven of peace and tranquillity, rural in character boasting exceptional beauty and all surrounded by deep blue sea.
Visit the site of the famously collapsed Azure Window, Gozo’s iconic flat-topped natural rock arch with stunning views of the Mediterranean sea. Visit the Ta Pinu Church, Gozo’s national shrine which dominates the countryside, it is truly a magnificent sight. The church is said to be the church of miracles and offers a very peaceful and moving experience.
Experience the pretty coastal town of Xlendi surrounded by high cliffs and turquoise waters. With its charming bars and restaurants, it offers the perfect setting to sit back, relax and watch the world go by.
