Welcome to Lima! Your tour group will be picked up from the airport and provided with an adapted transfer to your wheelchair friendly hotel. You'll spend your afternoon resting and acclimatizing to the beautiful climate, with an introduction and briefing scheduled after dinner, describing your Peruvian adventure.

Peru’s capital, Lima, is rich in culture, filled with architectural jewels, revered pre-Columbian sites, and vibrant shopping districts overlooking the blue waters of the Pacific. Before you journey along the Pacific coast, you will visit cultural gems like the Larco Museum, where you’ll have the chance to witness the largest private collection of pre-Colombian Peruvian art in the world. The day’s events then continue along the Pacific Coast, visiting neighbourhoods in the region that allow you to observe the very heart of the city.

This morning, you will be catching a morning flight to Cusco and taking adapted transport to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Your group will then check into the hotel and have time to relax following the afternoon of travel, before an introduction of the attractions in the Sacred Valley.

During your time in the Sacred Valley, you’ll be visiting three stunning sites, starting with the Maras Salt Mines, where you can look down at the area from an accessible viewpoint. Then, gaze upon a panoramic view of Moray, an Incan agricultural experimental centre, famous for its elliptical irrigation terraces. And finally, bear witness to the fortress of Ollantaytambo, built by the Incas to form the legendary Temple of the Sun.

Decode the mysteries of Andean Iconography during an accessible wheelchair tour to the Amaru community, where members will greet your group and make everyone lunch. Once your time with the locals has concluded you depart for the colourful Pisac Market and Pisac Ruins offering stunning panoramic views for you to enjoy.

And now for the moment you have all been waiting for! Take a train through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the fabulous mountaintop ruins of Machu Picchu. For centuries, this lost city, thought to be forgotten by time and man, was buried in the jungle until Hiram Bingham rediscovered it in 1911. A private bus will transfer you the rest of the way, where an accessible guided tour will illuminate the mysteries of this historic area.

After yesterday’s exploration and adventure to Machu Picchu, today is a day of leisure and relaxation where you can choose to discover your surroundings or prepare for the journey that still awaits.

Today, we’ll be visiting the labyrinthine ruins of Qenqo & Puca Pucara, as well as enjoying a guided visit and picnic lunch nearby Sacsayhuaman, the fortress above Cusco where precise zigzags of massive stone remain undisturbed after centuries.

Explore Cusco on a private city tour! The tour includes a visit to the Cathedral, considered the best collection of colonial art from the Cusco school, and Qoricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun, the religious and political centre of Cusco during the Inca era.

Enjoy the day experiencing the sights, culture and cuisine around Cusco, going at your own pace and taking in as much, or as little as you choose.

Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Lima where assistance can be provided to connect with your international flight.
