Puy du Fou – ‘the best theme park in the world’.
Between the châteaux of the Loire Valley and the beaches of the Atlantic coast, take a spectacular journey through time with family and friends at France’s favourite park. Meet the greatest gladiators, Vikings and musketeers, and get ready for amazing daytime and night-time experiences you’ll never forget.
Puy du Fou is an immersive theme park that’s won over 20 top international awards and has twice been awarded “Best Theme Park in the World”.
The concept is truly unique. Unlike most theme parks, Puy du Fou doesn’t have any rides. Instead, it offers 20 spectacular shows, each one based on a piece of history or legend, which has then been carefully curated and developed into a story, when combined with great acting, world-class production, and unfathomable technology leaves visitors in awe at what they are witnessing.
Puy du Fou appeals to visitors of all ages, making it an ideal destination for a unique and exciting short break for families, couple, friends or individuals.
In the stunning backdrop of 250 acres of ancient forest and nature, navigate around the park to experience 16 spectacular shows and 4 immersive walk- through experiences all with live translation into 4 languages.
At Hollywood’s prestigious THEA Awards Ceremony 2025 – The Oscars of Live Performance - Puy du Fou’s history of cinema-inspired show ‘Le Mime et l’Etoile’ won the THEA for the “Best Show in the World”. A must-see among Puy du Fou’s incredible shows!
Beyond the breathtaking shows, there are four carefully recreated historical villages, allowing you to wander along narrow streets and admire the ancestral skills of traditional craftspeople.
Accommodation at the park is just as unique and dramatic as the shows and the villages. You can choose to sleep in a Roman encampment, Renaissance Château or on a medieval Viking island, with 5 themed hotels to choose from, the fantasy continues throughout your whole stay.
Puy du Fou was the first European park to offer an extensive range of amenities and services for visitors with disabilities to ensure an accessible and enjoyable experience.
Puy du Fou has earned the Tourism and Disability quality label. Guests with disabilities can request a free Accessibility Pass, which grants them special rates, priority access and dedicated seating at major shows, and also allows access for one accompanying companion.
All Puy du Fou hotels offer adapted rooms for people with reduced mobility, as well as amenities for deaf, hard of hearing, and visually impaired guests.
The park welcomes over 3 million visitors a year and over 250,000 of those are from the UK.
