Santa Eulalia is Ibiza’s third largest resort, and serves to provide a family-friendly destination for those looking to embrace more of Ibiza’s beauty, culture and welcoming nature and a little less of its wild side. The palm-edged promenade, the wonderful marina and the renowned quality of the local dishes make Santa Eulalia an enormously appealing destination for anyone fancying a sizzling climate and beautiful surroundings.
The seafront promenade was an investment on the part of local authorities and the business community who have opted to market Santa Eulalia as a resort for a more discerning kind of customer, and helps to really boost the area’s aesthetics. Saying that, Santa Eulalia was always gorgeous to look at and relax in, with its religious historical monuments, whitewashed houses and incomparably golden beaches.
The municipality is famous for being central to the island’s gastronomical excellence, offering some of Ibiza’s most tempting restaurants. Ibizan specialities such as the local paella, guisat de peix (a fish dish in which the leftovers of the first course are used as ingredients for a second course stew) and boffida de rajada (skate baked with almonds) are easy to find and cooked exquisitely throughout Santa Eulalia.
Transfer time from the airport is approximately 45 minutes.
